SUCH A STUD

Burberry Studded Leather Gloves

My visual stylist (who is straight mind you) will not shut up about these Burberry gloves,
so naturally I had to check them out.. and naturally he was right. They are fucking sick.
I love it when studs wear studs!

SPRING CALL OUT: COLOR

Teddy Schwartz

Color is an obvious Spring trend, however most guys only wear their color on their top half.
Boys, colored denim is huge right now.  There are so many options for you out there ie Paige Denim,
J Brand, Rag & Bone... to name a few.  The pants shown above are ACNE.  If you can't wrap your head around colored denim, try a colored summer chino to ease into a bright bottom.
Check out Gant Rugger's options!

If you are a little more daring with your look, throw on a bright colored shoe like these royal blue suede chukkas seen above!  This particular outfit was "topped" off with a casual white oxford.
It made my tiny black heart beat faster.

SS HAPPY SOCKS

This guy knew what he was doing on that one warm overcast day in New York.
I felt like applauding him as he ran by me.  Perfect execution of a Spring/Summer happy sock.
Keepin' it real and keepin' it bright.  Sprinkle in some neutrals and you're done.
Bravo!

BEADED BOYS

Marc Jacobs Ankle Sneakers with Beads Covering via railso.com

The other day I was at Saks with a coworker of mine and I stumbled upon these beaded beauties!
These guys were absolutely jaw dropping.  They're definitely not for everyone but you have to appreciate the detail.  I love that man.

THE CALLAR PIN

Image via gthegentleman.tumblr.com

Keep your collars down boys!
My favorite collar pins are the ones that look like oversized safety pins, but gold.
This is a pretty great casual example of one.  For the boys who don't know, you usually sport the collar pin under a tie.  Some have chains, some look like a barbell and some look like the example above.
Moral of the story.. Collar bars are the coolest.

GUY GIFT

Sometimes guys.. you need to be outfitted.
So girls? When you get the chance to do so, ie birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries...  do it!

This is what I got for my brother this Christmas..
A seasonless gingham Gant by Michael Bastian shirt, a vintage silk knit skinny tie and a copper tie bar with his initials stamped on it.. all straight from Soho!  He loved it.  My favorite piece is the tie bar.  Not only is it a functional classic piece, but the added stamp detailing makes it a piece he'll own forever.

ULTIMATE HOLIDAY SWEATERS

GANT SWEATERS

With the holidays just around the corner, many of you will be needing some sweet holiday ensembles to show off at your annual office party as you get drunk off nog!  A great piece to complete a holiday look is your classic holiday sweater.  GANT Rugger and GANT by Michael Bastian sweaters are perfect for the holiday season.  They're pretty kick ass, the quality is great and they have a quirky edge.

GANT by Michael Bastian
The Cardinal Fairisle Crew reminds me of your classic "ugly Christmas sweater."
It's pretty awesome.
It's definitely suited for a more fashion forward confident guy.
GANT Rugger
I love the Salt and Pepper Crew for it's asymmetric design.

I saw a guy try this Brushed Alpaca Fullzip on the other day and it was amazing.

GANT Rugger
The Cable looks like your classic "Irish sweater" but without the bulkiness.
It's has a fitting trim cut to it and is another one that looks amazing on.

The Marled Shetland Halfzip is freakin amazing.
Sock Monkey Mania!

GANT Rugger
The Jacquard V-Neck has a bad ass preppy look when
layered under a fitting blazer or suit!
